The mobile phone looks sophisticated and seductive now. But to many considerations before buying. Do not be easily tempted. Because there are side effects caused. And that’s not notified in advertising.

Within the last 6 months I’ve bought 3 phones. I rarely do this. Because my phone was usually long time to use. I’ll buy a new phone, if its phone has many years I used. Like the Nokia N-Gage QD is already 4 years old. And still I have used until now.

I bought a new phone, because I wanted to know the various operating systems (OS) phones. Yes, I have been using the Nokia, which mostly uses Symbian OS. This I used as my reference book.

The first one, I bought a Motorola Q8. The phone uses Windows Mobile 6.0 OS. Yes, this homemade OS Microsoft. So just as easily use the OS on the computer. Then later I bought ZTE C261. This is typical of the local phone / China. And last I bought a Nokia 5230. This touch-screen phone. It makes using a different OS with other Nokia.

From the experience of having 3 new phones, I get a lot of experience and knowledge. Most is something that was never notified in the ad or even reviews in the media.

From this, I think we should more consider buying a new phone. Do not be tempted by the features or specifications. Because many side effects caused. And it was not informed on the ad.

It looks sophisticated and seductive feel. There’s 3G (WCDMA), HSDPA download speeds up to 3.5 mbps or more. There are GPS that will guide us or search for a location, even location can provide info on our photo portrait. There is a quality mp3 player does not lose to a separate mp3 player. And many more.

So consideration of the following things are, before you buy a new phone.

1. Waste pulse.
New phones now do have features that make drool. There is push email that makes the arrival of an email like SMS. There is GPS, which can guide us in finding a location. There is info that will show the status of our Facebook friends, directly on the main phone page.

It’s all a bit much to take credit. Because the data requires a connection to the Internet. But luckily all that can be disabled. But if not activated, it was pitty. Have a sophisticated phone, but never used.

How many pulses are depleted? Depending on your provider. Can be quite a lot, if it’s expensive. Or maybe not spend any money, because there is free internet access facility. Although not much.

So consider this, if you ration your pulse minimum.

2. Battery power quickly drains.
This is also another effect a sophisticated phones. The number of features that connect to the internet, requires a fast connection (3G or HSDPA), and it turned out to take power. Some phones are able to set the desired connection, eg to the GSM (2G), but the features are there not be optimal.

When I have a Motorola Q8, I was surprised because the battery is only 2 days. Nokia NGage QD when I’ve just 4 years old, still 4 daily. I think it’s because of Windows, but apparently after having a Nokia 5230, it was also the same. Only lasted 2 daily.

It’s sophisticated mobile-phone batteries wasteful. And it was still pretty. Sophisticated phones other Blackberry instance lasted all day. Even an Android phone, only lasted an hour. Until the review wonder, does this only happen on the phone or the whole type.

To overcome wasteful battery, I came to bring the charger everywhere. Because relative chargernya different. So if you do not want to carry everywhere charger, consider buying these phones. [TSA, 9/3/2010 dawn]
